Early-19th century wall console from an Italian Baroque church. The hand-gilt decorations feature leaves and flowers on the top shelf and the three sides of the console over a rich Pompeian red. The bottom corners and the bracket are decorated with delicately carved and gilt metal fleur-de-lis. Gilt and paint loss consistent with age, small repairs.
